Football Manager 2011 Demo

I've been playing the demo for FM11 for the past few days, looks good so far, took me a while to get use to the new look and especially the News setup and negotiating contracts with players. I've started with Rushden & Diamonds again, i got some great players on free transfer and doing some scouting for players to put on the website (which i will be uploading to footballmanagermad.com asap) and currently am unbeaten in my first 15 games! Big Grin Can't wait for the release of the full version on the Friday!!

Has anyone else played the demo yet?

  1. Hi got FM2011 today, my query is there doesnt seem to be any coaches which match the coaching values you suggest. Any ideas?

  2. Hi, i had the same problem, it's difficult in the very lower leagues to get coaches of those abilities. so you have to try and find the best possible i used this coach calculator (http://www.filefront.com/17433754/FM%20Coach%20Calculator.zip)to help me. You enter the coaches details and it tells you which coaching role they are most suitable for and how many stars they'll have. It is rather long winded this way but it works, if you dont want to go through all that i recommend you just lower your search criteria to around ten for say attacking and tactical (for an attacking coach) but also motivation, determination and level of discipline will have a bearing on their abilities. so if you search for these criteria at around ten too and then work your way up.

I've also found that as i'm limited in the amount of coaches i'm allowed i've had to choose coaches who are good all rounders with values of ten for each relevant coaching area plus determination, discipline and motivation and then setting them a couple of training areas each. Not ideal, but as you climb the leagues and are allowed more coaches you can implement the values suggested on the staff pages.

    Hope this helps,

    Matt
